  • I Graduated from Greenville High School in 1985. I was a member of the Greenville High School Marching Blackhawk Band for 5 years.
  • While in high school, I was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Greenville's youth touring choir. 
  • Murray State University - Bachelor of Music Education - 1990.  I have a major in piano, a minor in French Horn with a choral conducting emphasis.
  • I enjoyed being a member of the Murray State University Concert Choir and leader in the College Music Educator's Natinal Conference along and Kentucky Music Teacher's Association. 
  • Western Kentucky University - Master of Arts in Guidance and Counseling
  • Rank I Certified teacher through the Continuing Education Option of the Kentucky Board of Education
  • Level I Orff Certified - University of Memphis.
  • I have attendend 2 week-long Arts Academy Trainings and various music technology trainings.
  • I continue to be a member of the Kentucky Music Educators Association and the Kentucky Choral Directors Association and enjoy sending representatives from David T. Wilson to the All-County, 4th District, and All-State Choirs that are sanctioned by these organizations. 
  • I also attend workshops provided by the Kentucky Orff Schelwerk Association.





I have been teaching in Meade County for 28 years.  






  • I moved to Meade County in 1990
  • This is my 29th year of teaching in Meade County.
  • I am married and have 3 children.
  • I play the piano, trumpet and French horn.
  • I am originally from Greenville, Ky.
  • I love playing with my kids, my dogs and cats and composing music for the piano.
  • I am a big fan of The Piano Guys and Jarrod Radnich.  
  • My favorite composer is S. Rachmoninoff.
  • I also "kind of" like Zebras.
